Supporting Business Development

The Business Development Centre on Stafford Park in Telford, is home to more than 60 small businesses. Many have been in business for less than two years, several are now well established and a number have grown into significant manufacturing and commercial organisations.

Telford has a reputation for encouraging business enterprise. Whilst the large well known companies do create new employment opportunities, it is the smaller enterprises, typically those with less than 10 employees, which account for over 60 % of all the jobs in the area.

Supporting Business Development

Starting a new business is seldom easy. As many of the new tenants located in the Business Development Centre know, the first few months can be extremely stressful. Fortunately plenty of expert advice is on hand. The staff at the Business Development Centre, are all very experienced and well equipped to assist new tenants with office support services, which can range from dealing with the daily post to organising a meeting in one of the nine modern conference suites.
